The Ares Mine is shaped like a curved box. It is made of Celestial Bronze and gridded on the curved side the same way as a Frag Grenade, this makes it already very effective against people and monsters. Under the gridded side is a layer of hundreds of tiny ball berrings made from a varaity of godly materials such as Stygian Iron, Celestial Bronze, Brightsteel etc... Under it all is a powerful explosive that can be controled wirely, remotely or using a trap of some sort.

For the most part a Ares Mine can be used in any trap or antipersonel device. They can also be given a proximity sensor that causes it to explode when an enemy is near.
It can be devastating against anyone caught in the direction if the shrapnel or inside the blast radius.
